Patent Office [0024] FIG. 10 [0025] FIG. 11 a further enlarged illustration of the housing structure from the previous figures in the area of the cover, a further enlarged view of the housing structure from the previous figures in the area of the cover, [0026] FIG further perspective view of the housing structure from the previous figures with partially mounted front cover, [0027] FIG. 13 shows a further perspective view of the housing structure from the previous figures with fully mounted front cover, [0028] FIG. 14 [0029] FIG. 15 is an enlarged view the housing structure from the previous figures with partially assembled front cover from below, an enlarged view of the housing structure from the previous figures with fully assembled front cover from below.
DESCRIPTION OF THE EXEMPLARY EMBODIMENTS FIG. 1 shows a perspective illustration of a housing structure 12 of a heating device 10 with side walls 14, in the case shown a first side wall 16 and a second side wall 18. In this illustration, the side walls 14 are not yet attached to the housing structure 12. However, the side walls 14 are intended to be mounted on the housing structure 12.
In the exemplary embodiment shown, the housing structure 12 is provided for wall mounting. The housing structure 12 has an air box 20 and structural elements 22. In the case shown, the structural elements 22 are characteristic components of the housing structure 12. The structural elements 22 primarily fulfill a supporting function for further housing structural elements of the housing structure 12. In the case shown, the air box 20 is mounted on the structural elements 22. The air box 20 in turn can accommodate a heat-generating unit, which is not shown here, however, since the air box 20 is shown closed.
In addition, a holding device 24 for a control unit 26 is attached to the housing structure 12. In the case shown, the holding device 24 for the control unit 26 is attached to the structural elements 22. The control unit 26 in turn receives an operating unit 28.
[0033] Furthermore, the housing structure 12 receives a pressure compensation vessel 30. In the case shown, the pressure compensation vessel 30 is arranged on one of the structural elements 22.
The side walls 14 can be attached to the housing structure 12. Correspondingly, FIGS. 2 to 4, starting from FIG. 1, represent a sequence for the assembly of the side walls 14 on the housing structure 12.
[0035] The housing structure 12 has guides 32. In the case shown, the housing structure 12 has guides 32 on the air box 20 and on the structural elements 22. The guides 32 on the air box 20 are guide rails 34. The guides 32 on the structural elements 22 are in turn guide grooves 36. In the case shown, one of the guide grooves 36 is formed on a respective structural element 22.
The side walls 14 in turn each have guide elements 38. In the case shown, the guide elements 38 are guide hooks 40 and guide projections 42. A guide hook 40 and a guide projection 42 are formed on each side wall 14. In the case shown, the guide hook 40 is formed on each side wall 14 in a lower region 44 of the side wall 14, while the guide projections 42 are formed on each side wall 14 in an upper region 46.
The guide hook 40 in the case shown is a U-shaped sheet metal part

Patent Office le 48, which are welded to the side walls 14. The guide projections 42 in turn are a shape 50 stamped with the side walls 14, which are bent into the shape shown during the production of the side walls 14.
The guide elements 38 are designed to correspond to the guides 32 of the housing structure 12. In the case shown, the guide hooks 40 of the side walls 14 are designed to correspond to the guide grooves 36 of the housing structure 12. In the case shown, the guide projections 42 of the side walls 14 are also designed to correspond to the guide rails 34 of the housing structure 12. This enables a particularly stable assembly of the side walls 14 on the housing structure 12.
As already mentioned, FIGS. 2 to 4, starting from FIG. 1, represent a sequence for the assembly of the side walls 14 on the housing structure 12. Thus, FIG. 2 shows a further perspective illustration of the housing structure 12 from FIG. 1 The side walls 14 are located closer to the housing structure 12 for mounting than in FIG. 1.
The side walls are now, in the case shown by means of the guides 32 and the guide elements 38, can be attached to the housing structure. 3 shows a further perspective illustration of the housing structure 12 from the previous figures, in which case the side walls 14 are suspended on the housing structure. This can be seen particularly by comparing FIG. 3 with FIG. 2.
Then the side walls 14, in the case shown also by means of the guides 32 and the guide elements 38, can be inserted into the housing structure. 4 shows a further perspective illustration of the housing structure 12 from the previous figures, in which case the side walls 14 are pushed in on the housing structure. This can be seen particularly by comparing FIG. 4 with FIG. 3.
Accordingly, the invention also relates to a method for mounting the heating device 10. Thus, the side walls 14 are attached to the housing structure 12 by in one step the side walls 14, in the case shown with the guide elements 38, into the guides 32 of the housing structure 12 hooked in and then inserted in a further method step, in the case shown with the guide elements 38, along the guides 32.
In Fig. 5 is an enlarged view of one of the guides 32 of the housing structure 12 from the previous figures with mounted side wall 10, in the case shown the guide rail 34 with mounted first side wall 16 is shown accordingly. It can be seen that the guide rail 34 is formed in two parts. In the case shown, the guide rail 34 is formed by a first sheet metal part 52 and a second sheet metal part 54. The first sheet metal part 52 and the second sheet metal part 54 are formed parallel to one another and form a guide channel 56. The guide rail 34 can thus also be understood as a guide channel 56. When the side wall 14 is mounted, the guide projection 42 of the side wall 14 engages in this guide channel 56, as a result of which the side wall 14 is attached to the housing structure 12 in a particularly stable manner.
6 shows an enlarged representation of one of the guides 32 of the housing structure 12 from the previous figures with the side wall 14 mounted, in the case shown the guide groove 36 with the first side wall 16 mounted. It can be seen that the guide hook 40, or the U-shaped sheet metal part 48, engages in the guide groove 36. Starting from the side wall 14 to the guide groove 36, the guide hook 40 encloses a part of the structural element 22 shown, as a result of which the side wall 14 is also attached to the housing structure 12 in a particularly stable manner.
7 shows a further perspective illustration of the housing structure from the previous figures. It can thus be seen that the heating device 10 comprises the housing structure 12 and an outer housing 58, the outer housing having the side walls 14 and a cover 60 which can be attached to the housing structure 12. The heating device 10 is characterized in particular by the fact that the cover 60 is set up to move the side walls in at least one spatial direction, in the case shown in the insertion direction

Patent office and / or direction of extension of the side walls 14 to position relative to the housing structure 12. A particularly simple and precise assembly of the side walls 14 can thereby take place. In this way, the side walls 14 are aligned with respect to the housing structure 12, as a result of which further housing parts can be assembled more easily.
In the case shown, the cover 60 is also set up to position the two side walls 14 relative to one another, which also enables a particularly simple and precise assembly of the side walls 14. As a result, the side walls 14 are flush with the cover 60, especially towards the front.
In the case shown, the cover 60 can be attached to the housing structure 12 as a cover flap 62. Correspondingly, a further perspective illustration of the housing structure 12 from the previous figures is shown in FIG. 7 with the cover 60 opened.
As already mentioned, the invention relates to a method for mounting the heating device 10. In the exemplary embodiment shown, the side walls 14 are now attached to the housing structure 12 in at least one method step, as already described above. Then, in a further method step, the side walls 14 are positioned relative to the housing structure 12 by attaching the cover 60, in the case shown by closing the cover flap 62. 8 shows the housing structure 12 with the cover 60 closed. This enables the side walls to be assembled easily and precisely.
FIG. 9 shows an enlarged illustration of the housing structure 12 from the previous figures in the area of the cover 60, the cover 60 being opened. It can be seen that the side walls 14 each have a tab-like projection 66, the cover 60 having a corresponding pin-like projection 66.
10 in turn shows an enlarged illustration of the housing structure 12 from the previous figures in the area of the cover 60, the cover 60 being closed. It can thus be seen that the peg-like projections 68 of the cover 60 for positioning the side walls 14, in the case shown by closing the cover 60, engage in the tab-like projections 66 of the side walls 14. For example, the side walls 14 cannot be removed from the housing structure 14 when the cover 60 is closed.
The side walls 14 are not only positioned by the cover 60, but are also held in position, as a result of which a further displacement of the side walls 14 is avoided. Thus, no screw and / or rivet connection is necessary to hold the side walls 14 in position, which further simplifies assembly and saves costs.
11 shows a further enlarged illustration of the housing structure 12 from the previous figures in the area of the cover 60. The cover 60, or cover flap 62, is attached to the housing structure 12 via a hinge-like connection 64, as a result of which the cover 60 can be attached to the housing structure 12 in a particularly simple manner. In the case shown, the hinge-like connections 64 are formed by hooking the cover 60 onto the housing structure 12. Correspondingly, the cover 60 is hooked onto the housing structure 12, in the case shown from above, and can then be closed.
The cover 60 and the side walls 14 at least essentially form the outer housing 70 of the heating device 10.
In the exemplary embodiment shown, the heating device 10 additionally has a front cover 72 which can be attached to the cover 60. In the case shown, the front cover 72 can be hung on the cover 60.
12 shows a further perspective illustration of the housing structure 12 from the previous figures with a front cover 72, the front cover 72 being partially mounted. In this illustration you can clearly see that the front

Patent office cover 72 is hooked onto the cover 60. The cover 60 has a recess 74 (see also FIGS. 7, 8 or 11) into which the front cover 72 is hung.
In addition, it can be seen that the front cover 72 has a recess 76, which is intended to make the operating unit 28 of the heating device 10 accessible. In the case shown, the recess 76 is a circular opening 78.
13 shows a further perspective illustration of the housing structure 12 from the previous figures with the front cover 72, the front cover 72 being fully assembled. It can thus be seen that the recess 76 is positioned on the operating unit 28 when the front cover 72 is installed, as a result of which the operating unit 28 is accessible to a user.
14 shows an enlarged view of the housing structure 12 from the previous figures with the front cover 72 partially assembled from below, while FIG. 15 shows an enlarged view according to FIG. 14 with the front cover 72 fully installed. It can be seen from FIGS. 14 and 15 that the front cover 72 has further recesses 80 which are designed for fixing the front cover 72.
In the case shown, the further recesses 80 are further openings 81 which are designed to correspond to latching elements 82 which are attached to the structural elements 22. When fixing the front cover 72, the latching elements 82 snap into the corresponding further recesses 80. By actuating the locking elements 82, the fixation of the front cover 72 can be released again if necessary, and the front cover 72 can be removed or unhooked again from the cover 60.
Furthermore, it can be seen in FIGS. 14 and 15 that the holding device 24 has projections 84 for positioning the front cover 72. The projections 84 position the front cover 72 both in the horizontal direction and in the vertical direction, which simplifies the assembly of the front cover 72 and at the same time ensures that the recess 72 for the accessibility of the control panel 28 is always in the right place on the operating part 28 is positioned.
The projections 84 for positioning the front cover 72 are L-shaped. The front cover 72 in turn has cutouts 86 in which the projections 84 engage for positioning. The L-shaped configuration of the projections 84 enables the front cover 72 to be positioned in the horizontal and vertical directions. The engagement of the projections in the recesses 86 results in the positioning of the front cover 72 in the horizontal direction, while the positioning of the front cover 72 in the vertical direction is achieved by placing the front cover 72 on the projections.
In addition, the front cover 72 has a drill hole 88 through which the front cover 72 can be fastened, for example by a screw connection, to the holding device 24, as a result of which the front cover 72 can additionally be securely fixed again.
When the front cover 72 is mounted, the cover 60 cannot be opened, which in turn - as described above - the side walls 14 cannot be removed. A locking of the outer housing 70 is thus achieved by fixing the front cover 72.
In the event that the front cover 72 is fixed by the drill hole 88 by means of a screw connection, a technician only has to loosen the screw connection in order to enable the front cover to be removed by actuating the latching elements 82. This provides a secure fixation of the outer housing while facilitating access for a technician, for example for maintenance or repair work.
